- We do not run free discovery calls or introductory brainstorming sessions.
Clients hire us because the cost of getting a cross-border or corporate decision wrong is infinitely bigger than the cost of the work.
Here is the whole list.
1.
Advisory Consultations.
One hour, billed at $500.
Includes pre-call preparation, the hour-long session, and detailed written notes. In many cases, the consultation itself settles the question and no further engagement is needed.
2.
Financial Planning.
$4,000 base, capped at $10,000.
The base fee covers standard personal income and accounts. Complex factors (cross-border, corporate ownership, trusts) add $2,000 each. The absolute cap is $10,000, no matter how many factors apply.
Scope and total fees are confirmed in writing before any work begins.
3.
Cross-Border Tax Advisory.
$500 per hour.
Typically runs 10 to 60 hours ($5,000 to $30,000) depending on structural complexity. You get an estimate after the first consultation, before you commit to moving forward.
4.
Business Valuations.
Scoped separately based on the level of scrutiny the number will face, such as a CRA audit or a business sale. We recommend this work only when the risk justifies it.
5.
Wealth Management.
Fees are based on assets under management. They are quoted after planning is complete, offered selectively, fully disclosed, and reviewed regularly.
Paying for professionalism, not paperwork.
Meetings and reports are how the work gets delivered, not what you are paying for.
We use flat fees when a project’s scope is predictable, saving everyone the friction of tracking hours. We bill hourly when the scope is inherently unpredictable. In both cases, the fee covers deep analysis and professional judgment.
If your situation is simple, you can hire other professionals for less, and we will be the first to tell you so. But if it involves a corporation, an international border, or an irreversible financial decision, this is what that level of work costs.
